Day 8: Ensure you have a return flight booked from Srinagar. Avoid scheduling your return flight for Day 7. The trek concludes at Tosa Maidan, with arranged transportation back to Srinagar by 5-6 pm.

If traveling from Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, or elsewhere, aim to book your air tickets for Day Zero, which precedes Day 1 of the itinerary.

Transportation will be arranged at 10 AM. The cab fare is Rs 600 per person, payable directly to the driver.

DAY 2

Embark on the trek from Doodhpathri to Dishkal.

Trek Distance: 6.2 km

Trek Duration: 5-6 hours

Altitude Gain: From 8,900 ft to 10,606 ft

Terrain: Moderate with gradual to steep ascent through forests, meadows, and boulders.

DAY 3

Continue your trek from Dishkal to Ashtaar Valley.

Trek Distance: 4.3 km

Trek Duration: 5 hours

Altitude Gain: From 10,606 ft to 11,525 ft

Terrain: Moderate to difficult with a steep ascent through meadows and a ridge.

DAY 4

Proceed with the trek from Ashtaar Valley to Gurwansar.

Trek Distance: 7.1 km

Trek Duration: 5-6 hours

Altitude Gain: From 11,525 ft to 12,514 ft

Terrain: Moderate with long gradual ascents on meadows, boulders, and river crossing.

DAY 5

Advance on the trek from Gurwansar to Duriem via Pamsar Lake.

Terrain: Moderate to difficult with long walks and steep ascents through boulder sections.

DAY 6

Continue the trek from Duriem to Gadtar via Bodsar Lake, Trastar Lake, Navkansar I, II & Damamsar Lake.

Trek Distance: 10.5 km

Trek Duration: 8 hours

Altitude Gain and Loss: From 12,621 ft to 12,545 ft via 13,000 ft

Terrain: Moderate to difficult with long walks, steep ascents, and descents through boulder sections en route to Bodsar Lake & Navkansar I.

DAY 7

Complete the trek from Gadtar to Tosamaidan and drive to Srinagar via Sitaran.

Trek Distance: 11 km

Trek Duration: 5-6 hours

Altitude Loss: From 12,545 ft to 10,080 ft

Drive Distance: 80 km

Drive Duration: 3.5 hours

The return journey cost is approximately Rs 900 per trekker. A vehicle change is required at Sitaran before driving back to Srinagar.
